Rooms
The Shakespeare Hotel plays host to 74 guest bedrooms, a figure which includes single, double, twin, family, executive, superior and four poster rooms as well as a choice of eight luxurious suites. All but three of the rooms are non smoking. Each of the facilities is en suite and also features a whole host of amenities and facilities to ensure you have a comfortable stay. A further added extra comes in the form of 24-hour room service available both during the week and at the weekend. A number of the rooms look out over the high street below, while each is named after a figure from one of Shakespeare’s plays, adding a unique touch to the venue. The hotel is full of character, with some of the rooms and corridors having uneven and at times slanting floors, to add to the rounded flavour.
